I'll be appearing at the Sapporo Parallel Museum Sunday, February 8 2026, 11:30-18:30, at the Sapporo Underground Walkway, between exits 4 and 6. This is an arts event done in conjunction with the Sapporo Snow Festival. My new book, the Blossoming City should be printed in time to release at the event!

One of my favourite works is Alone in Kyoto , about my experience exploring Kyoto over four days. It's reflective and captures a time in my life when I was quite unsettled. Ten years after I made it, I've translated it and published it as the second book under the Square Comix imprint.
